Accommodation

There is always accommodation available for everyone during the Bike week, but the standard and range may vary. We recommend booking well in advance to find an option that suits you. In Motala and the surrounding area, there are plenty of campsites, group accommodations, and private rentals – such as rooms, apartments, and houses. In addition to enjoying the atmosphere in Motala after completing your ride, it’s important to rest before driving. For Vätternrundan participants, a minimum of six (6) hours of rest after finishing is required.

Accommodation rented by private individuals

Local residents in Motala rent out villas, houses, apartments, cottages, rooms, and motorhome parking spaces, among other options. Depending on the size of your group, you can stay on your own or share with others. You can choose to stay centrally, close to the start and finish, or in the peaceful countryside. Accommodation often includes access to parking and secure storage for your bike.

Contact Vätternrundan’s official supplier, Svecia Travels, and they will help you with your booking.

During the Bike week, Vätternrundan offers accommodation in its own facilities – choose between our temporary campsites at Råssnäsudden and Dunteberget, or one of our simple and affordable Ride & Rest accommodations at Motala Sports Hall and Carlsundshallen (formerly the Vätternrundan Arena).
