Vätternrundan is the world’s largest recreational cycling event and one of Sweden’s biggest recurring sporting events. During Cykelveckan in Motala, tens of thousands of participants gather each year, and together with the event’s history and international participation, this generates strong interest from media – both in Sweden and internationally, year-round.
Bike week 2026
Vätternrundan’s Bike week 2026 begins with MTB-Vättern on Friday, June 5, and concludes with the 61st edition of Vätternrundan on June 12–13.
Accreditation
Media planning to cover our events are warmly welcome. Accreditation is mandatory for all media covering the event. Applications for accreditation to Vätternrundan’s Bike week 2026 will open in May.
