As Vätternrundan celebrates its 60th race, a new coffee has been launched—specially crafted for cyclists. Lindvalls Kaffe in Uppsala has collaborated with Vätternrundan to create a French-roasted “Cykelkaffe,” inspired by cycling culture, camaraderie, and the classic Swedish fika stop.

The idea was born following a well-received collaboration during last year’s event. The result is a coffee with a tangy yet full-bodied flavor profile and a long aftertaste—a nod to both the Tour de France and Swedish cycling tradition.

“Fika is an essential part of cycling. It’s where conversations happen, breaks are taken, and community grows. We wanted to create a coffee that matches that feeling,” says Patric Torstensson of Lindvalls Kaffe.

Cykelkaffe also demonstrates how partnerships can be deepened through understanding the lifestyle and daily routines of the target audience.
“Cycling plays a role in many aspects of life. With Cykelkaffe, Lindvalls shows an understanding of that breadth and strengthens its connection to cycling culture and everyday life,” says Jessica Nilsson, Sponsorship Manager at Vätternrundan.

Cykelkaffe will be served during Vätternrundan and available for purchase on-site in Motala from June 6–7 and June 12–14. Starting July 1, it will also be sold via Delitea.se. Proceeds from sales will benefit local community organizations.
