Over 4000 paid volunteers (raising money for various sports clubs) help out during the events. They will assist you with everything from handing you your ride number to showing you the way at crossroads. We are very proud of our helpful and friendly volunteers.

The natural beauty of the area around Lake Vättern is an important part of the cycling experience. The organisers and the cyclists have a shared responsilibilty to care for the environment, so please:

• Use the rubbish bins provided at the rest stops
• Do not throw any litter along the course

Vätternrundan operates a certified environmental management programme according to Svensk Miljöbas and strives to make environmentally-friendly choices.
